Sara Richards Memorial Lectures
Sara Richards died unexpectedly last year,
she was a great supporter of Ruthin Craft Centre and
rarely missed an event here, especially if it concerned textiles.
A talented stitcher herself Sara had founded a group called
Merseyside Stitchers in 2018 who have also visited us.
Her husband Joseph Boughey has generously decided to commemorate Sara’s passion by supporting a series of textile-oriented lectures and talks as part of our programme to perpetuate what Sara loved and to encourage more people to enjoy the wide spectrum of contemporary textile art.
It was a privilege to have known Sara and Ruthin Craft Centre is honoured to commemorate her delight in textile art by sharing this series of events freely with you.
