The language, culture and history of Wales, are the roots of Bethan’s inspiration – the need to tell a story, to throw light on a small part of our history, and to enlighten those who do not yet know the story. She works in the medium of fabric and stitch, producing three-layered quilts from printed and inked fabric with dense machine and hand-stitch to create texture. The work is a medium for conversations about the future.
