Digital Mindfulness Workshop and Creative Movement Sessions for adults: Tidal Echoes

13 April £18.00

This Online Digital Mindfulness Workshop and Creative Movement Sessions have been especially designed to encourage people to slow down; connect with CRAFT and themselves, and to enhance their wellbeing.

Creative Movement Sessions led by performer Jane Sutcliffe (filmed on the coastline of Anglesey)

Using the coastline of Anglesey as her backdrop and Beverley Bell-Hughes’ organic formed ceramic pieces as inspiration to create different movements and shapes with our bodies. As well as savouring the treasures of the sea by reflecting on our own experiences of the coastal path.

The creative movement sessions will be offered in sections – this means you can start and stop at any time and do the sessions at your own pace over a period of time which is convenient for you.

‘Tidal Echoes’ Workshop led by artist Judith Wood

This online workshop with Judith will introduce you to the process of mark-making and demonstrate how drawing with a variety of materials can be used as a tool to relax the mind again looking at Beverley Bell-Hughes’ exhibition Tidal Echoes for creativeness. To re-connect us and to awaken our senses of being by the sea this workshop also includes a short film with natural sounds of the sea and images; to help set the scene and take you to a place which is calm and tranquil from the comfort of your own home.

We will also provide you with a basic materials kit which will be posted directly to your household.

‘Zoom’ Group Meeting

There is also an opportunity to join a follow-on session with Judith Wood and Jane Sutcliffe through an exclusive online ‘Zoom’ group meeting, which will take place at the end of April. Further information including the date and time will be sent out after you have made your booking.
