Digital Workshop 1
Online workshop with Mai Thomas
Inspired by the Eleri Mills exhibition:
Egni: A decade of creativity
Mai will encourage you to observe and question: What is a landscape? How can we record visually, not only what we can see in different landscapes, but how we feel about the natural environment in our day-to-day lives? The 4 online sessions will allow you to explore different techniques to help you create your own views. You will harvest ideas from Eleri Mill’s paintings and drawings in her current exhibition and use them as seeds of inspiration to grow your own ideas.
These 4 online sessions will allow you to investigate and experiment with a variety of materials and develop techniques in drawing, painting and collage, which will help you to create and form your own compositions.
1. Framing a view
2. The fabric of the land
3. Light and weather
4. Land, identity and imaginary worlds
Each digital workshop costs £12.50 (or sign up to all 3 workshops for £30).
